![]() ![]() Verizon still has the case pending after 4 months and refuses to get back to me with any updates or compensation for my loses due to their security breach. Due to this breach in security, this hacker was able to virtually swap the SIM cards on countless phones and hack into their financial accounts. After spending countless hours on the phone with Verizon’s Fraud Department, we figured out that a Manager at a Verizon store had his credentials/computer hacked into and this is how the hacker was able to swap the SIM cards virtually. Select On next to the mobile number (s) that you want to protect from being transferred. It can be provided to you only by Verizon, as theres no single SIM code that fits all locked. Go to the Number Lock page and sign in if requested to do so. The hacker then sold and transferred around $5,000 worth of crypto to an encrypted account. The Verizon unlock code (PUK) is attached only to your SIM. During this time, the hacker used my phone number to receive security codes to reset passwords and hack into my two email accounts, Robinhood account, and account. On 8/25/22, my Verizon SIM card was virtually swapped (without my authorization), meaning that someone else was receiving messages sent to my phone number.
